Standard Tools

Standard Tools are used to add elements to your zūmibox. You can add text, images, clip art, lines, circles, QR Codes and rectangles, or create freehand drawings and add paths to your design using these tools. Standard tools appear on the left side of the zūmiCreator TOP^

Add Text

Select this tool to add text to your zūmibox. Once you click on this button, the cursor will appear on center of your zūmibox. You can type the text and change formatting using the text toolbar (that appears on the right side of the zūmiCreator as soon as you select the text tool). TOP^

Add Img

Select this tool to add an image to your zūmibox. Once you click on this button, the image library pane will slide down from the top of the zūmiCreator. TOP^

The image library pane will allow you to add images from your previously loaded “My Images” folder, Facebook, Picasa, Instagram, Flickr or any online location from which you have downloaded images. After logging in to your account, stored images will be displayed in the image slider. TOP^

Once you open the desired image library, you can drag and drop each image onto your zūmibox. TOP^

QR Code

Clicking on this tool opens the zūmibox QR Code generator. Once open, select the type of QR Code data that you desire to embed in a QR two-dimensional data matrix. Type in the web address, telephone number, etc. where indicated and the zūmibox QR Code generator will automatically create a QR Code and apply same to your zūmibox. Once the QR Code is on your zūmibox, edit and position it as you would any other image or object. Be sure to keep the aspect ratio setting checked for this object if you intend to resize it on your zūmibox; stretching a square QR Code into a rectangle will, most likely, render it unreadable. TOP^

In some cases, you may want to resize an object without preserving the original aspect ratio. To do this, you can uncheck “Aspect Ratio” and the image width and/or height can be resized without changing the other dimension. To preserve an aspect ratio, click to check “Aspect Ratio” and any further changes in image width or height will result in proportional changes in the other dimension. TOP^
